Are you sure you sent it??? ;)

Gotta have the Race Tuner so I don't hurt the engine, that is a must have. If I am gonna spend all this money, what is $250 for chrome (actually I would like to see the silver, I might like it better). I've got cash to buy the turbo, that is not the problem, it is spending $5,000 bucks on this or something more useful.

I grin every time I get on the bike (even after 22,500 miles), and sure I would even like it more with a turbo, just is the $5,000 bucks worth it to me. My birthday is Sunday, someone wanna send me one for my birthday??? :hidesbeh:
Eric I put 36K miles on my bike and always had a smile, but let me tell you I've had a permanent smile since installing the CP Turbo. It is absolutely the best bang for the buck. There is no way to describe how happy I am with the CP's product and service along with V-mod's. IMHO you will regret not getting this especially at this price. If I had to do it again I would. It's worth every cent. So buy yourself a birthday gift and enjoy it everytime you ride your v-rod :thumb: The only thing better than a v-rod is a turbo or big bore v-rod :diablo:

silver CP kit

Eric, here is the basic silver kit, its on rat head's rod. And I fully understand your dilemma on blowing the $4.5k on a new toy, trust me. But I will say the CP kit is a much less costly alternative to 160+ hp/105 lbs ft versus the serious BB way. Hey, its your birthday, spoil yourself.

You have a birthday and there is a group buy on a turbo- and you can't decide?????!!!! That's called fate!

BTY, didn't mean not to buy the RT, just not right away, so it didn't feel like losing the whole chunck of change at once.

Hope you'll pardon my ribbing you, I"m just so looking forward to the turbo I hate to see others that are interested not do it. I love turbos on anything. After tweaking my turbo diesel I never never tire of hearing that big bear spin.

Nick's dyno sheet

Thanks for the pic! Now I can compare them side by side.... :D

Eric, don't listen to them. I understand that it's your birthday and now that your getting older the desire for a high horsepower quick machine doesn't play well with your age. Stay with something safe and slow, leave the fast bikes for the kids.

I don't mind you ribbin me Jeff, I would do the same thing in your position!!! :)

Again, I don't mind spending the whole chunk of change at once, I will pay for it in full with cash. Just letting myself do it is another story!!! :)

I had a powerstroke in my last Ford truck (with the manual 6-speed trans), and would love to have fun with the turbo and wastegate on it..... :D

Also, since I drag race, I will now need to buy full leathers and a kill switch for the track since I will be running quicker than 11.0 and 120mph. I should also get an electric shifter while I am at it. Rear tires will go faster also! Do ya see where this money snowball is going???? LOL!!!!! :ride:

Thanks for all the b-day wishes also, I agreed to run a 1/2 marathon with my sister on my birthday, talk about a birthday present to myself..... hahahaha!!! :banghead:

Thanks DAD!!!!!

p.s. - do you think the silver or chrome version works best with the annodized VRSCA (I've got an 03 anniversary)?

Max, its a done deal now....down to color selection. Eric, happy birthday and enjoy your new turbo.

Well Eric if your age wasn't a handicap and since you own an 03 with chrome engine covers I think a younger person with a more performance oriented mind set would go ahead and spring for the chrome up front to match what they have. Nothing worse then spending that kind of money only to find out you skimped on such a small amount that makes so much difference down the road.

Dad

Well Eric I am trying to help you, my advice was to leave the turbos for the younger performance oriented guys. But if you ride up to Dallas we can do a ride as father and son and don't worry. I'll give you a map of my destination and I'll stop and wait for you at several points along the way. :)

Eric,If I could start all over,This would have been my first mod.:birthday:
That is good info!!!! (since I have NO bling on my bike at all, just a pipe, powercommander, topless, and 28T pulley).

You're bike looks great by the way, one of my favorites I have seen on here! :)

Holy crap I gave up running along time ago- that just hurts thinking about it anymore!
My doctor turned me onto bikes- he said, "Take up bike riding, it's a healthy sport."

Congrats Steve O. Now that you are committed it's hard to wait, eh?
