HI Steve

Will this work with the PC III I got off you ? What is the difference between Turbo and Supercharger, pardon my ignorance.
See post #14 in this thread, I had the same question and Steve has already answered it (you will need a Race Tuner).

The 1250 is perfect for this setup. They have a Molly coated piston that is also a little stouter than the std v-rod piston. It is almost like they are made to Boosted!
So far we are sitting at three orders, so please, if you are even thinking about this, pull the trigger, you won't regret it.
Thanks: Steve
I am thinking hard about it, but need more convincing!!!!! :D

(especially since I have to add $479 to the cost for a Race Tuner when I already have almost $1,000 in a Powercommander and a Joker Pipe than will no longer be used) :(

Just buy the damn thing already!! You've been posting alot on these classified ads, and to date, I still have yet to see you buy anything!!! :popcorn
I'm savin up for hot dogs, what can I say??? :cook

I'd ask if you are gonna buy one, but it isn't carbon fiber...... :D

You're right, the practical me keeps saying "no" to all these things I have been posting about, and the crazy me keeps saying "yes" - the practical one keeps winning with 51% of the votes....... :bash: :(

Is this convincing enough? :bash: Get on the bandwagon, put your other stuff on ebay or in the classified...then you will see sport bikers and they will  and their girlfriends will look at you and say :hitit: and you will :stilpoke: them and they will be like :blahblah: and they will :duel: and you will :spank: and make their bikes look like :moped: and then they will all :notworth: and other vroders will
That is a great post, thanks for the laugh!!!!!

(of course I know you want me to join so you can get your turbo) LOL!

Just sell your other stuff. When will you ever get this kind of a deal again? Remember this is like 20% off so the race tuner is like free!

Besides your from Texas- don't you guys do everything BIG?

ChopperSteve- put Eric down for one turbo and a race tuner. Guess we gotta kick him off his fence!

Better put SkinnyBenny down for one too- as long as we're kicking fences.
Hey Steve, if Jeff is payin, I'll take one in Chrome please...... :D :hyper:

I'm not one of those Texans who believes "bigger is better", but that was quite funny!

Since I've got a month to think about it, I will take my time and see how I feel then. If I say "yes" now, I will want it here TOMORROW!!!! :D

JSC said:
Well Eric and Benny- I will let you ride mine if you don't buy one... just so I can watch you guys kick yourselves in the butt afterward.
Have you guys seen the regular price? You guys obviously want one, there is no justifying one. I've missed other deals, not this time.

This has been a paid endorsment by V-Mod and Custom Performance.
Yes Sir, I have seen the regular price many times while visiting Nick's website!!!!

Just think, for double the money, I could by ANOTHER V-rod and have double the horsepower..... LOL!!!!

You are right, there is no justifying one in my mind either, that is my only reason why I have not said "yes" at this time...... :popcorn :mrgr:

I've got my Dyna Wide Glide up for sale, so if it sells, I will be in for sure..... :D

I appreciate the "eggin", I need all the encouragement I can get to shut this practical guy up!!!! LOL!!!

Yes, I did watch the clip, thanks for the post!

Uh- yeah... didn't you pick it up yet?

PM me your address and I'll send you some Michigan Lottery tickets!

Ok, so just get the polished kit and save yourself a few dollars- see there's $250 in YOUR pocket right there. Now hold off on the Race Tuner and there's another $480. That's over $700 you now have that you aren't doing a thing with, might as well send it to Steve for a down payment.
There now wasn't that easy?

You know those commercials $500 for braces, $450 for grandma's ballet lessons, $5,000 for a turbo, the grin on your face EVERYTIME you hit the starter on the V-Rod........Priceless
Are you sure you sent it??? ;)

Gotta have the Race Tuner so I don't hurt the engine, that is a must have. If I am gonna spend all this money, what is $250 for chrome (actually I would like to see the silver, I might like it better). I've got cash to buy the turbo, that is not the problem, it is spending $5,000 bucks on this or something more useful.

I grin every time I get on the bike (even after 22,500 miles), and sure I would even like it more with a turbo, just is the $5,000 bucks worth it to me. My birthday is Sunday, someone wanna send me one for my birthday??? :hidesbeh:

Eric, here is the basic silver kit, its on rat head's rod. And I fully understand your dilemma on blowing the $4.5k on a new toy, trust me. But I will say the CP kit is a much less costly alternative to 160+ hp/105 lbs ft versus the serious BB way. Hey, its your birthday, spoil yourself.
Thanks for the pic! Now I can compare them side by side.... :D

You have a birthday and there is a group buy on a turbo- and you can't decide?????!!!! That's called fate!

BTY, didn't mean not to buy the RT, just not right away, so it didn't feel like losing the whole chunck of change at once.

Hope you'll pardon my ribbing you, I"m just so looking forward to the turbo I hate to see others that are interested not do it. I love turbos on anything. After tweaking my turbo diesel I never never tire of hearing that big bear spin.
I don't mind you ribbin me Jeff, I would do the same thing in your position!!! :)

Again, I don't mind spending the whole chunk of change at once, I will pay for it in full with cash. Just letting myself do it is another story!!! :)

I had a powerstroke in my last Ford truck (with the manual 6-speed trans), and would love to have fun with the turbo and wastegate on it..... :D

Also, since I drag race, I will now need to buy full leathers and a kill switch for the track since I will be running quicker than 11.0 and 120mph. I should also get an electric shifter while I am at it. Rear tires will go faster also! Do ya see where this money snowball is going???? LOL!!!!! :ride:

Thanks for all the b-day wishes also, I agreed to run a 1/2 marathon with my sister on my birthday, talk about a birthday present to myself..... hahahaha!!! :banghead:

Max said:
Eric, don't listen to them. I understand that it's your birthday and now that your getting older the desire for a high horsepower quick machine doesn't play well with your age. Stay with something safe and slow, leave the fast bikes for the kids.
Thanks DAD!!!!!

p.s. - do you think the silver or chrome version works best with the annodized VRSCA (I've got an 03 anniversary)?

Max said:
Well Eric if your age wasn't a handicap and since you own an 03 with chrome engine covers I think a younger person with a more performance oriented mind set would go ahead and spring for the chrome up front to match what they have. Nothing worse then spending that kind of money only to find out you skimped on such a small amount that makes so much difference down the road.

Dad
I thought Dads helped their sons buy the things they need to sustain a happy life??? I'll send you my address like I did with Jeff and you can send money also. I'll even ride up to Dallas with the turbo on Dad so we can take a family picture!!!!! :D

Eric,If I could start all over,This would have been my first mod.:birthday:
That is good info!!!! (since I have NO bling on my bike at all, just a pipe, powercommander, topless, and 28T pulley).

You're bike looks great by the way, one of my favorites I have seen on here! :)
