Aww c'mon Benny we can get together and put them on at the same time!
I'll scrape whatever I have to to have enough saved by the time of the buy.

Just sell your other stuff. When will you ever get this kind of a deal again? Remember this is like 20% off so the race tuner is like free!

Besides your from Texas- don't you guys do everything BIG?

ChopperSteve- put Eric down for one turbo and a race tuner. Guess we gotta kick him off his fence!

Better put SkinnyBenny down for one too- as long as we're kicking fences.

The group buy is Sept. 1st. thru the 15th. = 30 days. It hasn't even started yet and we have 4. So we're not doing too bad? But, the sooner we hit 10 the happier I'll be!

Well Eric and Benny- I will let you ride mine if you don't buy one... just so I can watch you guys kick yourselves in the butt afterward.
Have you guys seen the regular price? You guys obviously want one, there is no justifying one. I've missed other deals, not this time.

This has been a paid advertisment by V-Mod and Custom Performance.

I'll quit egging you guys on- I know it's alot out of the pocket. But, you know you'll be sorry! Ok, that was the last time, no more making you feel bad...

The turbo makes 165hp. From other posts- about a 10hr install by yourself. I really don't think you are gonna to find a noticable lag. As far as the superchargers you'll have to get input from the guys that have them.
I really like the sound, maybe not loud enough for some of you, again there are some sound bytes around here somewhere.
I think if you want a higher top speed you need to change gearing.
For the money, for the reliabilty and you won't see the big dip in your gas mileage- I think the turbo is the only way to go -for me. Plus I have just always liked turbos.
I have only heard the best about Custom Performance, what have you heard about the dealer you would have install the supercharger?

Uh- yeah... didn't you pick it up yet?

PM me your address and I'll send you some Michigan Lottery tickets!

Ok, so just get the polished kit and save yourself a few dollars- see there's $250 in YOUR pocket right there. Now hold off on the Race Tuner and there's another $480. That's over $700 you now have that you aren't doing a thing with, might as well send it to Steve for a down payment.
There now wasn't that easy?

You know those commercials $500 for braces, $450 for grandma's ballet lessons, $5,000 for a turbo, the grin on your face EVERYTIME you hit the starter on the V-Rod........Priceless

You have a birthday and there is a group buy on a turbo- and you can't decide?????!!!! That's called fate!

BTY, didn't mean not to buy the RT, just not right away, so it didn't feel like losing the whole chunck of change at once.

Hope you'll pardon my ribbing you, I"m just so looking forward to the turbo I hate to see others that are interested not do it. I love turbos on anything. After tweaking my turbo diesel I never never tire of hearing that big bear spin.

Holy crap I gave up running along time ago- that just hurts thinking about it anymore!
My doctor turned me onto bikes- he said, "Take up bike riding, it's a healthy sport."

Congrats Steve O. Now that you are committed it's hard to wait, eh?

Nathang- I sat on one last year at KC, (I'm 6'2") there were'nt any problems and I know myke15 is, how do we say, much shorter than me and tho I never asked I never heard him say anything about any problems either and he's had one for over a year. Sorry i don't have any pics but, that was my first concern was how much the turbo would interfer with riding- I think it is just well designed and it's not really an issue.

So we have 7 confirmed, how many of you out there that are really thinking about this? I'll bet some have not posted, when you look at the number of veiws to this thread it's had some attention!

If you have any questions at all, any reservations, PM ChoppeSteve.

Your time is about to expire to make this once in a lifetime deal on a new turbo. Don't miss out on the most bolt on horse power you can get and only a 10 hour install. It's removable and can be put on your next bike.

Did I mention chicks dig turbos?

So as far as the octane rating for gas- which is ideal and where are you going overboard? What is the rating that makes this set-up the happiest?

I hope you still don't think you're welcome at the rally?:spank:

That's ok, really, we'll always remember you as:moped:

Well it was fun fun'in with you anyway:rofl:

Best deal for your money is this group buy! I don't know enough about the superchargers to give you a qualifed answer. I do know of the people running the turbo and have logged many miles and being happy with it.
Also you get a little edge on the horsepower game going with the turbo as being presented to us here.
So dollar to horsepower and reliablity and a quick install all point to the turbo.
Not to mention the people backing this deal are all top notch!

I think Jeb is just excited about this deal as am I and is trying to do all he can in good support of the GB. If he's this excited now, can you just picture him when that box arrives?
It's all good, I don't think anyone is trying to hurt the GB, everyone just expresses their opinions and concerns.
This is probably my 4th. try at a system, I am either too slow or too broke when things happen.
It is alot of $ and as I said before you can't justify spending it, you just gotta want one and have the funds available at the right time. I've seen them run and talked to as many people as I could about them. This has been for over a year so take into consideration that this is the first exposure some have had to the turbos. I am really glad my path took this long for the right system.

RicoSauve- the race tuner is the only other thing that you have to have, it comes with a new clutch and as Max stated, all the drill bits and taps are included along with the map for the RT.
Looks to be a pretty straight forward install with no special skills.

Nathang- make sure to place your leg between the turbo and the ground to protect the turbo! I mean do you want to walk or go fast?
