Aaaaaand my point is made
Really ??? I ride with a lot of Baggers with Larger fronts, extended bags, hangers, razors etc and yes WE RIDE HARD where we can.
Don't let the look fool you.....

So in a nutshell you are willing to ride someone else's design (HD) and don't like others to express themselves through there hard work and imagination.I find this really shallow.I have owned 10 V Rods and put my mark on all of them .I have now turned my hand to Baggers
and they ride just as good as stock.ie they are not only for show they are riden and riden hard.I have included a couple of photos
for the narrow minded among you to slag off.
I luv Baggers and I see one or two in my future but will always keep my Rod. Your Baggers look damn FINE man. Great work there !!!:notworth:

As men we will always challenge & be challenged...I for one try not to partake unless the challenger is a real douche, then I go out of my way to funk him up. Case in point I had a dirt bag challenge me to a hill climb with the Quads, all day he was bugging the shot out of me. So finally I said sure, U first...well, he made it 3/4 up the hill started to slide back a little so what does assface do??? 2 things wrong, he hits the throttle which pops him up, his front comes down then he hits the rear brake...what a Dik. After a few rolls his quad is toast, he's OK...HE wants me to tow him & his quad back to civilization...I left both of them in the middle of bum fuk...still smile when I tell this story...:D

Challenge Accepted !
Mid west thunder is coming up. See you there !
23" front wheel with arrnets. Me , you . 10 miles.
I aint gotta ride hard, just faster than you ....
( Oooh yea, I have my pro AMA superbike license )
How about a fund raiser? ...sell tickets to the challenge?

:rofl2:

fixed that for you
:blahblah:

That's cool you have a racing license, I was merely commenting on the fact that stretched bags on a bagger limit the ability to lean the bike over. I have lots of friends with bags that aren't even stretched that far and their bikes aren't lowered and they can't turn for shit.

You can ride as fast as you want, way faster than me (congrats), but that doesn't change what I said. Those are show bikes they aren't being thrashed in the twisties.

And your point is? You dont have to get your knee down to ride a bike hard,Get over yourself and get out from behind your PC and live a little. You sound as if you have a pent up grudge against everyone that doesn't conform to what you think .:barf:

I dare you to post a vid of that bike getting ridden "hard". Because I don't care what air shocks are on it, it's not gonna lean over far enough.
This thread is a little old but I couldnt help myself. I hate goobers that have to say something negative just because they cant think beyond their own experiences.:blahblah: The photo shows a "show bike" spanking me and my Night Rod in the 1/8 while being ridden "hard". 2008 Street Glide with a 26" front, 120R, air ride, lowered, raked, extended bags, show paint and hand pin striped. He drags the bags all the time doing fishtail burn outs and doesnt care. Yup, ridden pretty hard. And I hope to put a 21" on my vrod, which is how I found this thread.

Oh and I have a video of him leaning it in the twisties just fine, Im just not smart enough to upload it here...lol:banghead:

Anyone see if a 21 or 23 inch rim clears with a front air kit? Winter is coming and I'm looking for a few extra mods. The 21 looks good but if you can stuff a 23, why not. Bike is a 08 DX not sure if stock is 2 or 4 degree trees but i will start looking for the info. As it is now i have about 1 inch gap from the stock fender to the radiator shroud when aired down. It appears the 21 would fit with a different fender which is required for the install anyways. Pics or advice?
