Well while in route home to Yakima Wa. on saturday afternoon returning from the ABATE Spring opener in Toppenish WA. My best riding partener was killed on his Softail! I watched it all unfold in my mirror. I gave cpr for what seemed like for ever untill the paramedics arrived and pulled me away! They then did nothing to save him and told me that he was dead on impact. He has a 7 month old baby girl and his high school sweet heart turned wife of many years. We may never know the exact events that lead to him rearending a pick up backing down the Highway half on shoulder half on the slow lane. But I know that he was by far the most safe, sane and good headed rider that I have ever ridin with.

I am so sorry to hear of this. Try your best to remember the good part of the day and focus on that instead of the terrible part of the day. Try to remember some of the conversations you had throughout the day. Also try to remember a smile or laugh that you two shared that day so that you can pass it along to his family as she will need it. We will be sending up a prayer for you all.
