Seems like alot of stress on the engine/trans......
these bikes were built to handle the stress. Keep in mind that the engine and tranny are Porsche's brainchild.

I wouldn't do that to my V-ROD (if I had one), I can see an older P.O.S. but not a nice bike! Seems like alot of stress on the engine/trans......

I was a little overserved at the last EasyRiders Bike Rodeo and got the burn-out bug.... after a couple sweet burnouts on the main strip I tried to do one on a patio paver in the camping areas.... I failed and ended up smoking my clutch something awefull.... couldn't ride her home.... to make it worse (costlier) I may have done further damage to my shifter fork that led to it breaking and causing me thousands in damage :broke::banghead:

It will be interesting to see how many burnouts I do when I get my motor rebuilt :hidesbeh:

Never done one. I'll burn my dunflop off before I get rid of it but Ill be sure to learn the ins and outs before hand. I have to have at least one vid of my DX burning some rubber off.

ive seen motors blow.belts snap.tyres burst tearing brake lines and belts off.all for what?all that shit being sucked through the air filter is hardly good.saying these motors are built for it just isint true.do it on a rice rocket, they deserve it.

I've only done one rolling burner to date and..........

I didn't plan on doing it. My buddy has a Fat Bob with V&H Radius pipes on it and whenever we go under a highway he likes to blast it to hear those pipes echo loud as hell. Well, I was behind him with my V Rod and I did the same thing except the only difference is my bike sent the back end sideways nearly causing me to soil myself. I had just bought the bike and it was then I realized what a real motorcycle was like.

haha nice.

This is my first "Heavy" bike. Almost all I have done is rolling burnouts. My "F" handles great. I am not sure how she will act with the new Avon's though. I am hoping the dunlop burnout days are a thing of the past? I want to lift and carry the front end now...LOL Jim

with the Avons, you'll never have the ass end accidentally swing out on you, Dunlop owns the patent on that.

Schamberlin that shit is sick. ive seen these videos before , just realized they were you. i do rolling burnouts and shit all the time, but i bet supercharged brings it to a whole new level. and wheelies? damn...

Rolling burnouts a must with the V......a must!

The bike with it's long wheel base and raked neck are perfect for holes shots. Perfect to learn on for those who have voiced inexperience. I've taught many a now nutcase, I always suggest to start with small snappy ones, get up to rpm's and dump the clutch for just an instant and pull it back in quickly. Get used to the feeling and extend the length whenever you are comfortable until you're full blown launching and banging 2nd!
It is possible for the rear end to kick out depending on tire compound but you will learn to deal with that as well.
Others seem concerned with the "stress". It's a hot rod and the reason we bought it. The air-cooleds can take it and so can the V. Yes, you will replace tires, clutch, belts with more frequency and it's not impossible for something big to break, but the fun is priceless, especially at events dominated by traditionals, the noise from the CFR and a patch of thick 240 rubber and smoke in their faces is worth it 10 fold. :D

Unless doing a pass I do not do standing burnouts, never saw the attraction. No acceleration, no big long patch, very little skill and you eat your tire up for nothing.

my dunlop runs pretty straight when I do rollers. Right now I'm trying to get the rest of the tread off since my new wheels with new Avons shipped yesterday
