I have a set of large non-slants that I took off my m50 before I traded it on my F....If you have some time I could throw them on and take a pik for you all....
i think under the seat they might sit too low. these are the Large size, not the XL. excuse the faded yoke, i left it mounted to my suzuki and would just take off the bags, and it faded from sun. enjoy the pix...
thanks....not a fan of the slants, never know which way they should face! as I said, I know the XLs are not that much larger and not sure how much more they will take up. with the yoke at the rear of the seat, the bag reaches the back of the seat
Yes, I did. I started with the XL's and they were to big so I returned them for the large size and they fit. I am going to pack them this weekend and mount them on my bike for my ride down to Daytona Bike Week and once I have them on I will snap some pictures and post them. I believe that they will work for times that I need them. Thank you, TRH
No extra hardware. I will decide if I want them under my seat or above the seat this weekend. They come with straps and buckles to mount them on the bike. TRH
they look nice reminds me of the throw overs i have which i like as i can just pull them off once i get to where i am going. My fav addition for going on long trips
TRH, they look awesome! My issue is that i have the V&H 2-1 drag style exhaust which opens up right under the bags...and it often shoots flames. So I am a bit worried that I would start them on fire or my stuff inside would at a minimum smell like exhaust fumes
Just a quick follow up on the Tourmaster slants- they worked great for me on my trip to and from Daytona, they didn't move at all, stayed put perfectly, no regrets. Next time if I need more room I will use the web for a bag on top of them. Very happy with the set up and especially the money that I saved over the Harley bags. TRH
I pulled the rear seat and they laid flat across the bike, put the rear seat back on over them. Carried 2 small wenches with me and once I arrived at the hotel I took them off. Doing it over I will just leave them on for the whole trip. No scratches, marks, etc. very happy with these. TRH
I had a set that I used for a rally but they rub the sides and messed up the paint when it was black hints is now why my paint is custom now but I thought about using a set now since I got the bicep backrest it may protect the paint better now I just use the backrest with a backpack
