Can someone please tell me if my bike is ever gonna run right with these pipes
Have SE Air Filter, PC, and short slasher no baffle, have had bike dyno'd and mapped, still has awful dead spot at 3500
Have baffles on order, will this help

I have the Longslashers with 2 inch baffles. No dead sopts anywhere!! Also using Power Commander.

How do u like the sound, I have no baffles and it is way to loud, got baffles on the way

Kenny,

Change your plugs when you get the baffles too. You've probably trashed the stock plugs with the lean condition.

I have a set of long slashers lying around. I bought some 90 elbow tubing so that I can weld one pipe on each side of my bar-b-que. I think it will look cool. :rofl:

Unfortunately for you or anyone using straight pipes, your bike probably won't run as strong as others, small displacement motors need a certain amout of backpressure unless you run wide open(racing). HD doesn't recommend Samson pipes.
