Ive tried a search to no real avail.

i have a 2012 muscle with a security fob, and i believe the ignition switch only requires the key to lock or unlock the switch. the key does not need to remain in the switch to run.

could i do away with the switch for say a push button setup. off, power, crank?

i see some nice billet starter button setups getting around and thought it would look good.

I don't have an answer to your question, but that is one slick machine you are build there

You can use any form of switch to power up. You would lose the acc side of the current stock switch though. No big deal. The only use I've found for it is for doing a WOW test or placing the bike into transport mode.

Years ago I removed he switch on my 09. I don't remember the instructions, but it is totally set up on the Run/Stop toggle switch. You still need the fob.
