Rear wheel bearing swap ?

Picked up an 8" wheel for a 240 swap on an 02 and need to know how to replace the 25mm bearings with 1".

Search function will be your friend.

Do not take that personally.

I have done alot of research on this and so has others.

You will have to get the snowmobile bearings that work just fine or ceramics($$$) bearings from (Sharkey) V -shop on the forum.

You can also buy a set of bearings and the axle from the dealer.
They are not that much in cost.
I did mine and just to make it easier, swapped out the axle, bearings and spacers to the year and model that I bought the wheels off of.

You can also call Dave at World Wide Bearing or go thru Sharky at V-Shop, he can make you a set of custom bearings as cheap as getting them from the dealer. I just got a set made for my wheel set up and it was very economical...

Post up what you have or how you are going to do this .

LIst from left to right if you where looking at the rear end.

Here's the plan:

Modified 02 Swing arm
Stock 02 axle.
Stock 02 spacer
Stock 02 front pulley
06 SE Chrome rear pulley
06 SE 150 tooth belt
Stock 02 Compensator bowl
08 18x8 Slotted wheel ( bearings replaced with OD52mm x 1" x 15mm)
Dunlop 240 tire
Stock 02 brake rotor
Stock 02 Spacer
