What it the t code on the SE? It reads no resp. Probably something not on the bike but just wondering.
NO resp means you either don't have the switch turned on or you have a component not checking in, most likely you have your run switch turned on.

Most likely you DON'T have your run switch turned on.

The P S and SP all had responses of none. The t at the end said no resp. The run switch was definitely on. Any ideas?

Did you enter the P and S sections to read those codes and do you have a security module?

Yes, I checked for codes in the P, S, and SP areas all said none. The last character looks like a t which is the one with no resp. I do have security came stock on the bike.

I see you have an 06SE and according to the 06 manual it only shows P,S,and C. It uses P to record codes for the ECM, S is for the TSSM and C is for codes for the IM. There is a chance that the SE has other codes for it's second cluster or tach but I don't know and couldn't find anything in the SE supliment I have but then it's 5am here and I am doing server backups and repairing some corrupted sql tables at the same time so I may have missed it. Usually a norsp means what ever it is trying to read either doesn't exist or has no power to it.

Anyone know where to get an IAT retainer clip? The dealer told me that it does not come by itself - - I would have to buy the entire wiring harness for the clip.

Try a gm dealer, it is the same lock ring used on many different wiring harness and injector plugs.

this thread helps me out alot. Were do you find the list of codes to know exactly on where your problem lays?

Thanks, it was only right infront of me right! (pulled the stupid card!)

REading Codes

Would I need to run through the steps to read the codes on my bike if my bike isn't starting anymore. I replaced my battery about two weeks ago, after a two hour ride my bike will not start. All lights flash and a clicking sound is heard when trying to start. It's as if the battery is dead again.???

Any suggestions would greatly be appreicated.

It sounds like the battery is dead, charge the battery first and then see if the bike starts. If it does then you need to check the charging system and check the system for any draws on the battery.

Sounds as though you need a new battery. I got one from Zanotti's last week and costed me $67 shipped. I had the same issue and this corrected it.

I charged the battery all day and the bike still would not start. Would you think it is the charging system not charing the battery?
What kind of charger did you use to charge the battery?

"bUS Er"

Does anyone know what "bUS Er" means? This just started showing up on my display, and my 2003 v-rod would not start up. I finally got it started, but it would stall out. I tried to get a code, but the only thing that came up was "no rSP". Please help!!
