I've run across several items on ebay for Harley parts that say they work on different models including V-Rod and when I emailed the seller stating they didn't or that they might not work they always responded that they really weren't bikers just resellers and weren't as familiar with every product. In 2 cases I even noticed that day later they modified their ad to take out that they worked on V-Rod.
