I have a 02 A and want to install a LED lic plate frame with tail and break light
function (Arlen Ness).
Where is the best place to tap into the wiring? And what do I have to take off
the bike to do this, the bike does have hard bags on it.
Hey, I know you guys have the answer.any input sure would be appreciated.

It would be easier to remove the fender,you don't really have to though.The tail light needs to be removed.You can fish the wires up through the hole that is used to remove the tail light assy and just tap in at the tail light pig tail.

Ness Taillight/license Plate Assembly

Floyd,
If you are talking about this style, you will have to remove the fender to remove the taillight and then mount the chrome taillight/license plate assembly on the top (outside) of the fender and the backing plate to the inside/underside of the fender. You can just hook into the stock wiring with the yellow wire going to the green wire on the bike and the red wire going to the purple wire on the bike. I liked the look of this but the B C license plate is the large size and won't fit the frame.

Mine is different then yours, but I am going to remove the fender, I want to do a good job on the wiring, solder and shrink wrap.
