Backfiring with TABS installed and PC-V

Hello Team:

Is the backfire normal under deceleration? What causes the popping/backfire? Before installing the TABS slip-on's (non-baffled) there was no "popping" from the stock exhaust.

I'm using PCV map: 15-006-014 - TAB Performance slip-ons (turnouts without baffles), Stock air filter, Stock ECM because that's my exact configuration.

Changing the air filter or removing the top cover will eliminate the popping?

Thanks

it's your map on your pcv. need to find a more well tuned map, and possibly the auto tuner might fix it as well. i dont know exactly how well the auto tune for the pcv works, but that's a place to start.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe that it would be running too rich if its backfiring. The extra fuel pumped into the cylinders makes its way into the exhaust pipe and explodes..

Update

Hello Team:

Went for a long ride (200+ miles), remove the top cover for the air filter but still popping when I roll off the gas. Put the top back and still the same.

Today I used a map sent by fuelmoto. I think the bike felt more responsive with the first map from Dyno jet (15-006-014) but the popping was the same. Is not as loud as backfiring, is just the popping sound on deceleration.

Thanks for all the advice.

Update

Team:

Kudos to EOD J ROD, after making the changes he suggested, no more popping on decel. the TAB slip-ons even sound different, perhaps is my imagination? Anyway EOD J ROD nail the problem. I made the changes on the Dyno jet map: 15-006-014.
