Thanks...

Well, I'm still off work and have been dealing with going in and out of rhythm the whole time. Lately, I've been maintaining a normal rhythm, but my blood pressure has been playing games... I'll still be off work for a while...

I was supposed to retire June 1 and start my new business (had clients lined up) to supplement my partial retirement plan. Then, I had to have the surgery, and another one may be looming in my future. So I went on sick leave instead because the health insurance is much better as an active employee than a retiree. Sooo, I've been home for 4 months now, and some decisions will have to be made regarding my future...

I've been doing "some" riding, but no where to the extent I would like to. My energy level as dwindled and I fatigue rather easily. I'm dying to go on a road trip with the bike, but really haven't felt up to it. I'm also waiting for some time when Pondo and I can tear my front end apart to replace the steering head bearings (they're shot) and rebuild the forks (have some seepage in the right leg). Then, I'll get a new rear tire (weird how they wear out so fast :hiding:) and take the bike SOMEWHERE other than the 5 county area I've been in.

My relocation has been held up due to all that is going on, I really wanted to be living somewhere warmer by now, but I guess it's best to stay breathing first.

There's a possibility of another surgery... I'll know after Sept. 20th, and I'll let you know.

Get'cher rhythm back Kurt! Prayers for your ticker.
What ever, don't lose your MOJO !!!

Warm weather? Not on the California coast, just sunny here. If you want cool air, it's been 50-60's in July!
If interested in warmth:Check LUX's weather in Hollywood. Understand,LUX has the shocking ability and knowledge to hook you up to jumper cables and give good zaps.....err laughs.

Yo TOUGH MAN,
I've never listened to Doc's advise on riding with broken clavicle or jogging with 4 month healed broken femur.....But riding with a broken heart is different! You mentioned SOB(short of breath).
If your riding w/SOB....stop and take a rest. Your ticker provides oxygen to lungs and heart and brain. If exhausted,no energy....take a rest.
We all know your a TOUGH MAN,but you can take a rest every now and then.
