Abs light on non-abs model

My friend had problem with his tacho ( it stopped working). His bike has ABs, mine doesn't. After we installed my Speedometer on his Bike we put it back to my bike. So right now -ABS light appeared on non ABS bike. So what shoud I do to turn it off?? It lights all the time.Thanks.

It's possible the IM has activated the ABS light because it lost communication with the ABS ECU. If so, this might be fixable by reading and clearing codes. This post explains how to do this on the newer bikes.

If you can't find a DTC to clear you may need to go to a HD dealer and have it fixed with the Digital Technician. There was a similar issue in this thread but a solution wasn't mentioned.
