I was visiting a very large HD dealership yesterday. Heard that the V-Rod will be available in a touring model. I'm thinking it must be something like the V-Glide. Anyone else have their ear to the grind stone?
Sure. How about this one...Panman said:Just chated with a reliable source and got some news on HD wheel testing for the V-Rod.
He said he was talking to a test rider who was testing the new wheels and said they were awesome. He also said they were puting the revolution engine on a differand frame. One with a shorter wheelbase like a Buell. He said it would walk away from the V-Rod.
Anybody else got any good rumors?
Actually the China agreement has nothing to do with parts, it's all about marketing within Chinao2man98 said:Since we are on foriegn talk I also want to mention that Harley is in the process of working with China for the manufacturing of more parts and assemblies. I believe it may have been announced at the same time as the above since I heard on the radio the same day.

American Iron aka Buzz in his column in this month's magazine said that he was scheduled to ride the new 2005's in Sturgis and preview Harley's new HOT Motorcycle.
I wonder if its HD's Big Bore V-Rod. It wouldn't suprise me.
Maybe we'll see a 6 speed too.
I heard that a BB kit was coming out,so you don't have to have the case machined for the new sleeves.Maybe that's what your dealer is doing.Sure will help to bring down the price.Like about $1K less. :thumb:o2man98 said:.
Also for you BB guys they had a wiseco kit they were going to put in their shop V-Rod but wiseco changed the sleeves some how so they sent them back to exchange for the updated ones. Not sure whats different. Material, Thickness?
