Welcome to the forum terryeast73 ! I had the exact same year and model as yours, bought it from a pilot friend that was moving but I loved the ride and especially the deep sound of it that original exhaust is beautiful as well - sold it and made some money on it, didn't have anywhere to keep it 
but I still have my R Model so I'm good. You'll love the low Mx engine, they run forever when taken care of, 1/2 the cost of Mx on a Ducati -
