Checked prices were around 4k even with missing peices and/or dents scratches. This is practicly unused, sat in a protective sleeve in a box for 20 years.

I got a bit more than a grand more than that for the whole entire bike - with 4000 miles on it ! I could have put another tin set on it for a grand and made $ 4000 more selling the bike and tins separate !
I'm not saying there isn't someone out there hell bent on buying an anniversary tin set for 5K, but not very likely.

Believe me I get it I put the price of anything I'm selling up there at the top of the market if it's a no excuses item and then adjust it back down until I get some bites, but 5K just seems a really high start price, that's all - best of Luck with the sale
