I'm fitting YSS G Series shocks, with piggyback gas reservoir and Hyperpro progressive fork springs to my Muscle this weekend.

Been speaking with Walter Preisig in Adelaide whose been building race bike suspension for 30 odd years who put me on to the YSS brand. He also builds Hyperpro suspension, which is superior again but cost more fun tickets.

I'll post a pic once I'm satisfied with the install and set up.

Was going to go with Wilbers but being impatient, I couldn't wait the six+ week turnaround.

Got the bike back today and its a completely different beast. New shocks (lowered half inch), progressive springs, valves and modified cartridges.

No diving into corners under brakes, no loose rear end feeling.

Gunna put some more riding in before I'll be satisfied with the new set up before now its 10x better than stock.

Sweet mate looks cool too, well I think I'll be doing the same going on your glowing report. That's a wicked looking exhaust what is it? Mines been dyno tuned with V&Hs pipes, I guess you'd have to re-tune with a different exhaust hey?

Yeah, definitely no complaints with the new suspension set up but anything is obviously better than stock.

The pipes are Akrapovic. Costs a bit more than the V&H and are not as loud, but just as good if not better.

Ideally you'd wanna re-tune if ya swapped pipes over.

I have read that you may have issues with mids on your bike using the Akprovic 2 into 1
i ordered my 2015 with mids fitted but plan on making a better set up at a latter date when i have time. But getting back to the problem at hand im going to add a small section of stainless tubing in the collector pipe area just before the pipe starts to rise at the muffler and this should cause it to lift behind where the mids sit (and foul) so should provide the necessary clearance required. I believe the interference is small. Glad to see your happy with the YSS install i was out there today and i am impressed so this is the way i will be going bit of home grown product with lots of back up.....

Rod could you post pics when you've done the mid control mod please. I have V&H pipes would this still work? I cant really picture what you're saying so pics would be great. Those pegs being too far forward are the only thing from keeping the Muscle from being almost perfect.

I took the bike for a good 600km blat over the weekend and it was great. Some slight damping adjustments at the half way point (Port Augusta) and it settled the reletivley minor complaints I'd noticed; although, I did have extra gear packed on the bike.

Walter will sort out anything you need if you go down this path.
