I think this is the NGK plug DCPR8E, please check to make sure.

Pull the fuel cap and see if you have a spray in the tank.

no change after changing plugs and cleaning battery connections...i ran it and looked inside fuel tank and see fuel returning up near the top..fuel flange problem possibley?..

Check out this thread on fuel flange' if you bike falls with in the serial numbers the dealer should fix it for free. Make a copy of the bulletin and that that to the dealer with the bike.

I have the same year bike. Had close to the same miles. Had the exact same problem. The fix was:

Fuel Flange.

Fuel Flange.

Fuel Flange.



They did not have one to swap for me but was able to fix it with a clamp inside to stop the leak.

The fuel flange leak is from a line coming from the fuel pump, which is inside the tank. If the flange is leaking, it will be under 55-60 lbs of pressure, and you'll see a mist spraying inside the tank once it gets UNDER half full, the line is submerged above half tank. There's a return line at the top, I think that's what you're seeing.

well i pulled the fuel flange/pump assembley out and the barbed fitting in the top flange was almost pushed all the way out..definitely the problem..thank u all for your help!!!

Check engine oil is it enough.
