I just need to whine out loud. I just spent 3 months and nearly 3k$ rebuilding my bike. New engine to the very last bearing and bolt, I have bought and sold and traded and mailed parts all over the world. I have new turbo pipes, every part except the tins have been powdercoated. I practically have a brand new bike. The weather is absolutely beautiful and there are 3 really big events coming up starting Friday

I now have all but one last stinking part.

Without it I cannot even fill the oil and see if my engine is even going to start.

I need a stator. I have it on order from Zanottis and it will be 4-6 days till they get it and another week till I get it. If I just could borrow a cover and stator off a dealer I could be ridingin right now...:banghead:

Anyway - I totally feel what Jedi felt when the fed-ex guy screwed up his weekend. It all comes eventually, but when you are waiting on the last piece it is just banghead on the wall time.

I am done and please, I am not upset at the person that had me one coming, I totally understand when things don't work out. But had I known I'd have ordered it 2 months ago...

I wish you had posted this yesterday. . I just tossed the one I had with a slow leak on the grommet. With enough RTV, it probably would have held until your new one came in.

I sold it. I sold all the chrome covers with the stator because it was the old style.

At the same time I worked a deal for a newer one, but it has not worked out yet. So rather than wait and be annoying, I just ordered one.

I just ordered this all from Zanotti's Friday. It's paid for and on the way.

Like I said, I am just whinning out loud.

I have an 07 cover, powdercoated and ready to go, just no stator to put in it.

If someone had a complete cover with the stator installed and could Express it today, I may be able to ride this weekend. I have exhausted all my resources here in Europe. 104$ from Zanottis and 225 € here at a dealer. I'd rather wait.
