Question?

This would be to Ron and/or Ohiovrod...and it could be a stupid question....I had looked when people started using the vinyl as an option to black out this area, measuring and have it cut by a computer to share with some members...During the process I measured several different bikes and the all were different, and they were not square. Will the parts be flush on both ends? I would love a set if they would fit properly....Appreciate a response...BIG

This is the big reason for the hold up on these. i introduced them several years ago, but I was making them for bike that I was taking measurements off of specifically. To solve this issue I have decided to utilize a o-ring on the bottom which you can see on my bike in the first couple pictures.

Of the 25 or so bikes I have fitted for these tubes none were the exact same. This is due to either the casting of the trees, powder coating of the trees, or varied torque applied to the fork stem. The variation is very minimal, but can cause improper fitment.

BIG I can assure you I would not make or sell these if they didn't fit properly and or look as they should. I should know in the next couple days how the 2 degree tubes I sent out fit. Once I can confirm and get the sample covers back to me Scott and I will begin production. I hope this answers your question. If you need anything else give me a call.

I'll see you on saturday Scott and Big Will we be down also.

Those are awesome. Anyone care to guess if they would interfere with the backing plate of the HD billet headlamp?
I know tubes will NOT work with SE style headlight brackets...i know my tubes i make I will be removing my SE bracket.....the SE bracket is tight though to fork.

I have put a set on a SE I had to machine down the cover to accommodate the tolerance fitment.

Buckeye826, Would you be interested in a trade for a HD picnic bag and a HD x-mas tree ornaments? I would like the Powder Coated Black HOLES 135.00. For a 06 VRSCD

Thanks
Shawn

Excellent! Count me in for the holes in PC black, but I'll be waiting on details on the custom dynamics turn signals as I will be going this route.

Also is the fit very tight over the tubes? I have my upper tubes powdercoated black and I'd like to leave it that way so I have black on black. But I'm concerned that the extra thickness of the PC might not allow the cover to slider over. Any idea if there is a bit of wiggle room?

Hey DOC i've already took that into account for guys like you who what to run the billet head light. It really fills up that front end with the covers looks mean.

or for those of us that have done the vinyl on the uppers and also want that "holes w.black on black"

Any news yet on making them work with a Custom Dynamic Set up?? I realize you just go the final prototype done, but you had to figure you'd get PITA people like us looking for something just a hair different:D
One simple way tp deal with this is to just mount the wrap around signals above and below the trees. That is what I did and I think it actually looks better that way because more chrome is covered.

So do you actually have 2 sets of these on your front end? I thought that $270 for 1 set was pretty stiff. Looks BA though, I like it.

flat black

I have a 07 DX and wanted to know if you will be making them in flat black if not just bare metal would be my next choice. Just hit me up and let me know.

Ride safe and trash those rice bunners............................

Yeah, I figured if one was good two was better.:D

Any word on these? I've got my front end apart and now is an awesome time to buy a set of these.

these still available?

Wondering if they are still available also and if they fit an "F" model?

Any other pics also? It looks like all the others except for one pic have been removed. But maybe its cause I am viewing from work and the firewall is blocking them.
