When I 1st got my bike and had no idea how it worked Blah Blah Blah I went on Ebay and bought one ogf those downloadable Manuals (aka Illegal) for a 2003 VRSCA (Even though Mine is a 2002) and have been using it since. Do a Job Print the page take it out, if it survives the service put it in the 3ring. Well I finally came across a 2002 Service Manual on Ebay, I never win cause idiots end bidding Higher than if you bought it at the dealer and had the Queen of England deliver it Herself. Well I got it for $20, It got here today and its MUCH BETTER than looking at it on a screen etc... Pictures are great and the book is Frigin-A-Great. If you dont have one,GET ONE.

I've got a PDF manual from another forum member for free and while it has been helpful I would still like a hard copy. You're right in that after a year of watching I have seen many go for at, or more than retail.

I can only compare it to porn. While there is pleasure in watching it & taking care of your needs it pales in comparison to touching the soft, warm flesh of a woman.

I could live with beer and oil stains if buying used. I'd be much more concerned about stains if buying Gazoo's manual. :barf:

Au contraire mon frair! The porn whether screen or print represents the CD Manual. Is it good, does it do the job? Yes. Is it as good as the real thing? Not even close. The manual represents woman. Soft, precious, warm to the touch. This is something that you must have in your hands to take in all of it's beauty. Something that once you have partaken in all that it has to offer must be yours.

I have to go now & hug my manual.

Got Mine from "gunnysgt" two months ago from the classified section here for $40. It is the 2007 VRSC service manual part# 99501-07. Very slightly used and has been a great read from time to time. There is very little that I would go to the dealer for now.

I purchased a lift and a bunch of tools along the way. This winter is going to be project time. Thats the GOOD thing about winter. You do not have to worry about having your bike in a hundred peices and asked to go for a great ride on a picture perfect day. It is just a three month pit stop that ensures another solid season of great riding with very little maintainence or downtime.

Yeah, right after I bought the bike, I went and picked up a manual. With all the dirt bikes I have, I know each manual will pay for itself MANY times.
