[VRSCX22]

So I stop by the HD trailer at he NHRA Drags today because I see a sign that says you could win a VRSCX. I walk over to see what number it is and it has the VRSCSE marking (below) on the engine.

A HD tool strolls over and wants me to sign up. I explain I have one and ask him what number the winner would get.

I briefly tell him where the number regularly would be. He says HD doesn't number their VRSCX bikes. I walked away.

You would think that he would know that Eddie and Andrew are tooling around on numbered VRSCX pit bikes at the very same event. Nice show of support HD....again.

What's the big deal with the number? Is there something special about this model?

They only made a certain number of the VRSCX, and mine is 939/1400

Wow! I've seen HD give away 883 Sporties and the like but good lord.

and you realize for special events and sponsor teams they make some that are not numbered. I worked for yamaha and the limited edition R1 that cost 18g's was not numbered and it was also not for sale, but it was a full scale bike not just a replica on display.
