The clamps are two part, and are easily installed (but apparently a little fragile - I believe V-Fred broke one by overtightening). There is an updraft that comes below the shield, probably due to the angle of the shield, that dances the helmet (and my glasses) which is totally cured by the addition of the lowers.
And you are correct. The war of the worlds had a three part tri-color lens. I still kinda like the way it looks.

Daniii: Like I said, you are not the only one that installs the visor backwards. I have seen it your way on several bikes, either by mistake, or intent. Turn it around (two bolts) and see what you think. I doubt their is any difference in performance, just looks. Your choice.

Daniii, thanks for the windshield info & you know that I am just razzing you about the visor:D However, maybe there should be a forum for: Backward Visor Geezed V-Rod Riders of America:biker:

Hmmm ???

There was a thread on the right way...... So when I bought my windshield I tried both and went the WRONG way . So I am willingly the 3rd member. As a matter of fact I have removed the windshield and left the visor on. BobT
