I need help trying to identify wether my night rod is an 2010 or a 2011 model ?

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the rite direction.

What is the manufacturer's date that is located on the frame tube by the lower left triangle cover by the fork neck (in front of the airbox cover). If it is between 7/09 and 6/10 it is a 2010 if it is 7/10 - present than it is a 2011.

Look in your owners manual. Within the first 5 pages or so is a breakdown of your VIN and what each of the digits represent. I don't remember offhand which digit exactly, but one of the first few represents the model year.
