I guess the MoCo kicked around a lot of possibilities before deciding on "VRod" - the design project was called "Digger" for a while, and then Marketing Division settled on "VRod". So as a totally useless question, what would you have named the prototype? I kinda like Digger...

I would have called it H Rod. Think of the possibilities:
Hot Rod - a tribute to the big block muscle cars
Harley Rod - Harley's muscle bike
Hard Rod - What happens when excited
The H was added to the old K when it became the KH which was faster than the original K. The CH stood for competition hot which the VRod is in spades.
