Ok...

So I trade in my B for the R. I like the R, The B just didn't corner well enough for me... Anyhow...
Within 1 month I have the R in for the famous clunk. They finally got it fixed and it handles like a dream... Now I've had it in 2 times since then for a mysterious oil leak... Front Cam cover gaskets replaced, 2x now. You'd think I'm finished...
So tonight I get ready to take it out for a ride, I back it up and see new oil on my damned parking spot. I know that Harley's mark their spot, but damnit, Vrods dont! Tomorrow when there's adequate light I will poke around to find the leak. I'm starting to get upset and that's never a good thing! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It is probably coming from the breather tube going into the lower airbox on the left side of the bike right behind the horn. It kinda looks like a riffle shell. If it is not seated in the grommet of the airbox it will leak!

found the problem, followed the oil leak all the way to the top of the rear cylender head. There I found a disconnected tube, the tube that is susposed to go to the blowby valve. Got it back together, will wash the bike and ride it hard for a lil to see if that corrected the problem permentantly or just temporary.

Would like to start out thispost by saying that I am not sure what to think of this. First we'll start out with some history. When I first gor my streetrod, It would almost die anytime I tried to ride it without letting it idle for 10 minutes. I took it to the dealer, they said they reflashed it, and that it should not be a problem anymore. It did repete the problem for a brief time afterwards, but since the weather hasn't gotten below 65 it hasn't been a problem. Anyone got any idea on what would be causing this? Part 2 of the problem list I've encountered... I parked my bike overnight at the dealer, first thing in the morning, I asked them to bring out a different v-rod so I could test it. They brought out a VRSCD, I started the D first, then immediately started my R. Let them idle, the radiator fan on the R kicked in almost 4 minutes sooner than the D. I am running Syn3 in my bike and the new bike has dino oil in it. What, if anything, would be causing my bike to run so much hotter? Any help will be greatly appriciated.
