Any tire can be plugged as long as you keep in mind that it is no longer rated at the speed rating by the manufacturer. This is whether it's a car tire or motorcycle tire, and doesn't matter whether it's an internal plug or an external plug. As long as you continue to check your air pressure on a regular basis, it should work just fine.
