Just remember you get what you pay for. I am cheap :broke: but I did alot of research on these lights before I made my purchase. Check this post http://www.v-rodforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2452 . That should clear up alot. Get quality LEDs and not surface mounts. They don't last long with vibration and heat and do not put out as much light. The pics on my post don't do it justice.
As for my wiring. I found a hot lead and taped in. I then found a spot not used in the fuse box and ordered the little clips from HD that hold a fuse. Now it looks stock and is protected with an easy to get to fuse. I hid a real small switch under the tank cover facing down on the left side. Good luck.
