In my first '05 cvo (totaled last May) I ran .450 Megacycle cams with stock springs. I had good valve/piston clearance and the stock springs were ok too. It dynoed at 136hp & 92 torque. In my second '05 I went to .480 Megacycle cams. I also stuck in O/S valves and race springs. My valve/piston clearance is .070 intake and .055 exhaust. These are close, but not to close. The bike dynoed at 140hp, 93 torque. I subsequintly put on a 240 rear tire and a 58mm TB. It now dynos at 135 hp. The fat tire and wheel weighs 56 lbs., took a substantial cut out of my hp. The 4 hp I picked up by doing alot of head work on the second cvo was some expensive ponys.

I run the bigger cam they make. The one you have is basically a "bolt on cam" ie...you dont need to change anything. This is the info web cam gave me prior to my purchase. You should call them. They are very helpful.
