VERY DEAD BATTERY, FROM HAVING A BATTERY TENDER HOOKED UP TO IT.

I HAVE A VERY DEAD BATTERY, CAUSE OF A FAULTY BATTERY TENDER. SO I JUMP STARTED IT WITH A HAND HELD JUMPER. IT STARTED RIGHT UP, BUT THE TACHOMETER IS NOT WORKING AND THE ODOMETER IS BARELY ABLE TO SEE. DOE'S ANYONE KNOW IF THAT VERY DEAD BATTERY CAN CAUSE THAT?? EVERYTHING ELSE SEEM'S TO BE WORKING FINE. ANY HELP WOULD WOULD BE APPRECIATED GREATLY! THANK YOU AND STAY WELL! JERRY

Bad batteries cause a multitude of issues. I'd give a full recharge with a quality battery charger and then retest. If it's over two years old, I'd replace it.

Be careful jump starting. Wrong move can cause ECM failure.

Fully charged = 12,7 volt.

Sorry to hear. Back in the day the day I guess they just took a leg. I remember my grandmother in a wheel chair as a double amputee. She had some issue or infection so Doctor #1 decided to amputate.... and took the wrong leg. Sad state of affairs... May your future be a positive one (get a classic convertible!!! ... I love my '70 Buick GS).

Hope you get this figured out. I have an '08 NRS that has to go on life support (tender) every winter thanks to WA State weather. Battery is still strong since purchase in 2019.
