Hi, I'm new to this site. I have a 04 VRSCB that I bought last year. I just finished replacing the front signal lights with a harley replacement. Now the Bike won't start. I had no mechanical difficulties before I changed the lights. Now when I try to start it, it makes a cough like it wants to go but then won't catch. Anybody have any hints?

Welcome to the forums.

Double check the work you just did. Make sure all your connections are good.

Check your battery connections and make sure they are nice and tight.

Check your codes. There are 2 threads in the technical section you need to look at.

Thanks RJ, I double checked all my work. I put a test light to all the fuses and all the PSC codes came back as OK. I am wondering if I somehow messes around with the security system.

I'm betting on the battery connections.

Must have been the battery connectors. The negative was slightly loose. After i tightened it up, the bike fired up right away
