Does anyone know how to get the Patina off of the aluminum wheels on a 2003 V-Rod? They are solid front and back and have some oxidation?

Any picture?
If they`re badly pitted you have to go all way = wet sanding.
Polish are my favorites Mothers Billet and Simichrome.

Unless the original owner made a point to have them clear coated, they shouldn’t be. They came from the factory with a raw/exposed finish.

I’ve tried the regular Mothers without great success. Will try Billet. Local detailer quoted $150 per wheel.
Just had a look at your pic and the oxidation is not bad. Try going over the wheel rim with superfine 0000 steel wool, after going over it with the steel wool wipe any particles away and then go over with the polish (mothers exc...)
They will look good as new
