Just fitted a V-gauge and was shocked to discover that the fans don't cut in until around 105 degrees C!! At first I thought they can't be working but my dealer says that's the correct cut-in temperature. Then I thought about that little rubber bung in the coolant header tank - seems it's the only thing between the very hot coolant and scalded ba**s.
Someone please tell me I'm wrong.
