Hey guys, hopefully somebody can help me. I had the stater leak happen. I ended up fixing it no problem and of course, while I was in there, everybody told me to put Loctite on the triple tree bolt so I took it out and when I put it back in the brake was being held as I tightened it. It moved a little now I’m seeing comments that my entire timing is off on the bike I started it ran it drove it. I did not feel any difference and didn’t notice any change. Am I OK or am I gonna have a problem down the line somewhere? I would say the chain probably moved one length in the bottom did an inch revolution I wish I would’ve just left the goddamn bolt alone. Does anybody have information about this?

Shouldn't be a problem that triple sprocket bolt only holds that triple sprocket on the intermediate shaft ( with no splines ! ) to drive the water pump - it doesn't alter timing bc all three chains move when it moves - now if the whole sprocket fell off the shaft, or one of the chains fell off, now you got a problem.
You did the right thing if that sprocket bolt backs out the engine will lose oil pressure and water pump speed and the engine will seize up if you don't shut it off quickly - the one fatal Achilles heel of the Revolution engine -bad design the shaft and triple sprocket should have been splined so the bolt wasn't holding the sprocket on the intermediate shaft and driving it only by friction.
But when it's locktited it's fine so if it's running well for you you're golden ! (y)
p.s. the triple tree is what attaches the forks to the steering stem - :D
