OK, I have it almost completely on the bike (just waiting for my new Plenum to arrive today) and there is a piece in the box that looks like a thin slice of large pizza, a very shap triangle, or a shank made in prison (lol) - it has a bracket on it - about 10 inches long. I see nothing in the instructions.... Is it ornamental or functional? What is it??? Sorry no pic as I am at work right now...

R's and D's have different exhaust brackets. I learned that when i tried to install pipes from an R on my bike.
