they look nice reminds me of the throw overs i have which i like as i can just pull them off once i get to where i am going. My fav addition for going on long trips

what throw overs do you have?

Picks would be nice TRH...did you go with the Slants? Seems like they might hit the license plate or rub paint. Any issues with the shocks?

TRH, they look awesome! My issue is that i have the V&H 2-1 drag style exhaust which opens up right under the bags...and it often shoots flames. So I am a bit worried that I would start them on fire or my stuff inside would at a minimum smell like exhaust fumes

Just a quick follow up on the Tourmaster slants- they worked great for me on my trip to and from Daytona, they didn't move at all, stayed put perfectly, no regrets. Next time if I need more room I will use the web for a bag on top of them. Very happy with the set up and especially the money that I saved over the Harley bags. TRH

how did you mount them under the seat?

I pulled the rear seat and they laid flat across the bike, put the rear seat back on over them. Carried 2 small wenches with me and once I arrived at the hotel I took them off. Doing it over I will just leave them on for the whole trip. No scratches, marks, etc. very happy with these. TRH

I had a set that I used for a rally but they rub the sides and messed up the paint when it was black hints is now why my paint is custom now but I thought about using a set now since I got the bicep backrest it may protect the paint better now I just use the backrest with a backpack

ok. so you layed them over the ecm and other moduals that are under the rear seat?

Yes, that is how I did it. I have had no problems, no scratching the paint, etc...

ok cool. just had to ask. was getting ready to put in hid lights and a k&n air fillter and decided to remove the back seat. see all the electronic there and seen you were able to put them under the seat. it looks like i will be ordering a pair of bag here before long. thanks again.

how did you get them to lay flat under the seat? im having some issues with bunching up at the seat and had to extend them out quite a bit.
