Hi friends,

I installing new Fehling crash guard for my V-rod muscle.

Looking for information regarding torque for following bolts:

1. Front upper frame rail bolts

2. Lower bolts radiator / frame rail.

See attachment with pictures.

Genuine Service Manual:
Frame Rail Bolts: 61-75Nm / 45-55 ft-lbs
Cross Member Bolts: 20-26Nm / 15-19 ft-lbs

working on ones bike car train plane or moped including boat rifle fishing reel watch phone computer all require very specific technial information in order to perform the task correctly.

Generally I give someone some slack on the first question about torques and such, in case the book is on order. If the same guy asks again in two months that he should be able to read for himself, I will not respond unless I'm in an extremely good mood. That is rare. I agree a SM is one important tool in v rod ownership. Parts and electrical are an extra bonus as well but most don't get these and I understand that. I will help in these cases where I can. SM is a must have.
