I actually bought the bike a little over 2 months. It was funny because I originally saw the classified listing on the bike on the SF Craigslist and, then someone that was interested in the bike also posted classified listing onto the V-Twin Forums http://205.214.91.71/forums/showthread.php?t=28403 . From what some of the members said on the forum I was led to believe that it was a scam or that it was sold already. I decided to go out on a limb and call the owner and to my surprise it was still available. I took a 2 hour drive over to Hollister where the owner lived to take a test ride. Being a rider of your traditional Harley's the V-Rod surprised the hell out of me and to make a long story short I rode her home that afternoon.
I just couldn't pass up this deal. 1200K miles. $12K. Just goes to show you not all things are too good to be true. And, I'm loving every moment!
By the way...does anyone know of local Race Tuners in the East Bay?
