Alright gents give me some help so I dont have to take my mirrors off until I'm ready to do the mod.
I need to know the what type of thread is on the mirror stem so I can have toolmakers at work make some sort of cap for me when I flip them.
Was thinking about maybe a black air fitting with some black air hose would look good also kinda help protect the wires.
Or no hose just the fitting with some heat shrink to seal it up.
Sure am glad the guys at work don't mind doing governmet work for me....

It would be hard to tell as their are so many different threads on this bike :(

I am glad i bought a mixture of tools so as i am able to do the minor mods myself.

Borrow a TPI gauge from work undo the nut on indicator and check it yourself :)

Also still waiting for pics of ya bike, Im sure ya yard is cleared now?

According to the 99457-10 parts catalog (a book you should consider buying) the nuts that fit the VRSCF mirror stems is 7432M and the threads on this nut are 8 mm X 1.25 mm pitch.
