Think I found killerglass replacement led's

That ribbon cable is pretty lightweight on the killerglass led and butchered mine up last night wiring it in when I pulled the wire and it tore against the side of the hose clamp. $15-25 for a replacement is hefty! Found on Amazon what appears to be the same or similar led 5050 and and they are 3 for less than $11. They don't come with the plastic holder but if you already have the led holder from your killerglass kit, looks like this would be a great replacement as well as allow you to order multiple colors if you wanted to play to see what works best. Should have my replacement Monday and will advise if works!

These will work but not sure if as good as the kilerglass. Received the led's today and they look the same except the lead that has the voltage regulator is shorter. It does not appear as bright as the killerglass but right now I am comparing the blue one from Amazon to a red one from killerglass. When I get my blue killerglass replacement I will compare as we'll. Also a difference in amperage. The brighter red killerglass is pulling .018 amps and the blue from Amazon is pulling .o48 amps
I found a place where I can buy the Glass piece same material. For a quarter of the price. besides the LED's and the Hose (I have Samco hose for the vrod) all i need is the clamps?

Yes, gates heat shrink clamps. Not sure part number for them though. Where did you find the same glass?
