Hi, I have a set of TAB's on my F, whilst riding I had a bug commit suicide on the left pipe, by the time I got home the bug was truely caked on and no matter what I did it wouldn't come off, to the point I now have a shiny mark where I attempted removal, can anyone give me advise on what to do now or is it a case of start saving for a new set?
Regards

So is the goal now still to get rid of the bug....or the bug and the shiny too? Some 000 steel wool should take care of the bug...the shiny i think you are stuck with. So I think your options are to make the entire exhaust slightly shiny or send them off to the powdercoater.

Thanks for the quick reply. The goal is both... bug & shinny. Would sending out to powdercoaters be a safe option...? ie colour and quality. Will it withstand the extreme heat or is there a special type of powder coating I should enquire about?
