Ok, so I have the workshop manual but im wondering if I can remove the swingarm without completely stripping the rear end e.g. remove wheel, shocks etc.

I just want to check and lube the swingarm pivot.

Could I just support the motor with a jack/stand, and lift enough to extend so wheel is on the ground with shocks extended, then pull the shaft out ? ...or will the tension from the shocks still prevent this ?

thanks :)

Never done it myself but sounds doable.. Lock the rear wheel, loosen up drive belt
& have some attention to the brake hose. Check out the swingarm bearing too.
Condition of rear engine mounts? Thats another pita story...

Engine needs to be swung out which means a whole lot of crap needs to come off. No way mounts should be needed at 27k
