My dealer called on Friday to tell me that he has the parts to do the fuel flange. He also said that he was ordering a new swing arm bolt, there are not enough threads to properly tension the bearings this is the source of the vibration. The bike has been at the shop for the last 5 weeks for a vibration (engine). He also said that the local rep was stopping by on Monday to ride my bike. Any else here of this?

Not sure what they could be talking about, on both our 02 and 03 they get a full nut with threads about 2 threads on the other side of the nut. If yours does not have enough threads for the nut to be complete then it may not be seated some place else.

ctvrod if thats the case I would think a new nut and bolt would be the exact same.

Looks like a double row brg that does not require the bolt to seat it to me anyway.

Good Morning:
You are right, the bolts that are available are the same length (the ones in stock somewhere???). From what the dealer told me HD has a new bolt. Don't you think that if this is true this situation would affect the handling.
