My local dealer has a sale on these two systems .

Can I expect about the same performance gains for both systems ?

How much better would the Bub 7 2-1 be compared to the two systems above (beside looks ).

It's a Matter of Taste

Maybe someone else could chime in here, but I have heard that the only ones to avoid for HP loss are the Sampson 2 into 2 and the Bub 2 into 2. Actually, I would avoid any 2 into 2 that didn't have a crossover.

The Supertrapps are tunable (you can add or subtract disks). The others are not, (beyond a possible baffle).

First off, I dont know anything about the V&H slipon.

I currently have the Supertrapp Slipons and love em. I use 5 disks and open ends. It has a nice rumble and is not too obnoxious to the neighbors. But I really dont like the shape or look of the stock exhaust so Im still lookin for that elusive needle in the haystack.

I had the Rinehart 2 into 1 which is similar to the Bub7 2 into 1. It was noisey, loud and tinty sounding. I tried different ways to tune the sound but was never successful. I liked the look of this style exhaust.

So Im going to try to combine the sound of the Supertrapp with the look of the Bub7 2 into 1. Just waiting for the Bub to show up from UPS so I can start fitting things.

I`m in the same boat .I hate the look of the stock exhaust. But the alternatives are few for a streetable exhaust . Too bad that Supetrapp doesn`t make their 2-1 in black .
