Hello,
Does anyone know who makes these handlebars? I’m exploring the idea of going to straight handlebars and would like to know what’s available for the VRSCA(2003).

Thanks,
-John

PS: Not my pic or bike, example of the bars I am thinking about.

I got a set of drag bars like that from ghost rider customs. Love the bars and they are comfortable. If you go that route, make sure you clear coat them first. As they are just polished steel and not chromed.

I just mounted a pair of $23 broomstick chrome dimpled 1 inch bar a close out deal on Revzilla— on to my 2004 VRSCA RatRod Build. Dropped the guages into a GhostRider Airbox. I need to find some better mirrors.

I love the drag bars, I commute every day to work on my VRatRod and roll on long non commute rides. No wrist problems or discomfort here.

I ended up going with the Fitzgerald Motorsports drag bars. I’m 100% happy with the look!

Thanks all!

Seriously, no paint or chrome? Who the fk would build bars like that?

Hi Guys,

Also looking to upgrade handlebars on my 2003 over the winter and I’m a bit confused as to what exactly is needed to change my handlebars to something different.

I am looking at 3 options:

1) If I buy these from Fitzgerald how are they fitted to the bike. Do they have an integrated riser or are they fixed to the front forks?

https://www.fitzgeraldmotorsports.com/product-page/b2-bars

2) The other option I like is the handle bars from Zeel. Same question again do these come with risers? How are they fixed to the Vrod?

https://www.zeeldesign.com/collections/product/products/guidon-low-rider-2001-2011

3) Would any of these risers work if I was to buy a drag bar or similar to fix onto the VRSCA without drilling into the existing parts?

https://www.motorcycleid.com/2003-harley-davidson-v-rod-handlebar-risers-clamps/

Thank you

I have some Biltwell Low Drag bars on mine.

I loved them, especially in CA, where lane sharing is legal.

They're nice and narrow.

I didn't love how low they were, so I purchased a pair of Amazon riser extensions (3").

Much better now.

Which handle bars are you using exactly (any pics fitted to bike), are they the zero drag handle bars on their site? Do you have a link for the risers you purchased? Also did you need to drill to install the new risers.
Thank you

Forgive me, I didn't attach much info.

Vendor site:

I did have to drill a little bit (it wasn't very much at all, just barely widening the hole).

I also had to purchase mounting bolts at Home Depot for about $2 a pop.

Riser extensions:

Bear in mind, I had the VRSCA model, so I didn't have risers to put a Zero Drag Bar in.

Below is the best current photo I have:

ALSO: I just saw that you're on an '03.

For my gauge cluster, I had to go to a machinist to make me a custom bar-mounted bracket.

If I don’t go with one of the solutions from Fitzgerald or Zeel I would also need to do that. I have some pics of what some people have done (attached) just need to decide on which one to choose.
