The lower part of frame is repairable (remove and weld). Cheap fix compared to a new one. Common issue...

Yeah man i didn't realize that part was removable until y'all told me. I have a welder just need to get the argon bottle filled... I will see if the insurance company comes back with a good number and then go from there. If nothing else I'll buy back the salvage for spare parts for the next one lol

Values on used bikes have gone way up due to high gas prices...... but if you can get it back, you could make some good $$ off of parts since HD doesn't make parts anymore

I would take the bike off your hands even with a salvage title. Here in Europe we normally take any garbage and second hand garbage that you guys throw out in the US, fix it and resell it as new.. 😐 it is the result of modern european socialism 🤮 but yeah we could arrange something

sounds good man, I'll keep you posted. Sad part is, it's really not that bad, but I pay for insurance for a reason, they should at least pay me when something completely out of my control happens.
I don't know how to get it shipped to you but I'm assuming you know better than i do. I'd be willing to do that as I'm right on the East coast in USA about 20 miles from the ocean

So all this mess being said, i have the VRSCD wheels for the banged up bike. Should i return them and just take the money from insurance and go buy a VRSCD or should i keep them just in case? What do yall think?

they said they would work with me on getting me the most money without totaling it as well. Bike only has 14,000 on it

lol the irony of this situation is that i hit the deer on my 3rd ride ever on that bike. I've been riding for 12 years and have only fell one other time and i was still a brand new rider at that time. So i don't even know how much i genuinely like riding a vrod.
but i can tell you my second ride was phenomenal. I know next to nothing about it cuz i just got it like two/three weeks ago. But if nothing else, this community here at 1130cc should be enough to make anyone want a vrod. Do thanks for everything already so far
