I notice lately in banking turns the bike feels funny in the rear. In looking deeper both the front and rear tires are getting an edge on both sides off center a few inches where the tire normally contacts the road riding straight ahead. They actually looks like this \_/ with those edges. When leaning into a corner the bike feels like it is sliding when it rolls over on that small edge. Air pressure has been correct and only have 5500 miles on them. Has anyone had same issue?

I believe your tires are "cupping". It is a normal occurrence with stock lops. If you could take a pic we'd be better able to confirm that for you.

This is cupping. Bag 'em and get some Metz. You'll appreciate the stickier profile, better wear pattern, and improved rain performance.

Is this your recommendation for the 180mm?

What about the 200mm width?
